I had flights 4-6 today and am more impressed with each flight. I used to think my 57" SHP had the best knife edge in the world but the Slick blows it away. Primarily because you can slow to a crawl and it still tracks perfectly. After flying today in virtual calm, I don't think I'm gonna mix out the little bit of tuck to the ear.

Had my first damage incident when I scraped the tail on a harrier landing, but what's a 3D plane without a busted up rudder?

Pilot

Simon, looking good.

I am adding a pilot to mine as well but the Hangar 9 one I want is out of stock. It'll have to wait.

Looks like Esprit has some, similar sized props I've got from them had 6mm hole, easily reamed to 8mm:

After about the first 15 seconds once the motor is either warmed up or the voltage drops slightly, it won't lose timing no matter what I do. It also won't lose timing on the 18x8, which is what I'll use going forward. 1750 watts is more than enough for me.

At this point, I'm still tinkering the CG. I'm having to put the packs pretty far forward to get close to neutral on the Scorpion system - much further forward than Joe had his pack with the Reaper and Ice. Very happy with the performance so far. Also added a 7%L, 3%R pitch mix and a 5% roll mix.

Really great flying model!

Scott
How many cells are you running this setup with? Looks like I'll be going scorpion. Reaper 60XL's are out of stock with due date of......who knows...

edit: nevermind, found it...
