3dEPP.Com's, Epp Yak 55. **Build Videos Added**

For those of you that are not aware, We have a New company gracing these pages.

3dEPP.com!

And they are introducing,

The EPP Yak 55 profile foamie.

The website where you can purchase these Fantastic fliers is now closed.

Here's a Link to the Build Manual PDF file.

The design of this plane is based on Leadfeather's design in, This Thread .

There is also a EPP Yak owners thread Here.

TaSaJaRa has started a Build thread for this plane.
You can find the thread Here. Here.

Here's a link for the Discriminating Yak owner.
3dEPP T-Shirts,
http://www.cafepress.com/3dEPP

For those that are using the recommended Super Simple 8-10 amp ESC, Here's the link for programming it.
(I could have sworn that I did this before).

What the Heck, Here's a link to a video of mine. Refugees Abuse of the Yak . (Don't be afraid to leave comments on my flying).

I hate to admit but, I was a bit Late in getting up to speed on this Fantastic plane. I saw one fly at SEFF this year, (by Bluecor Basher), and just fell in love with it.
I've been flying this Nearly Indestructible EPP foam plane as much as possible. I received my Pre-Production Yak from Mark at a Fly-In a few months ago. Then I received my first Production kit. WOW, Great stuff!
I was Blown away by the Quality work that was put in to it.
Thanks also to Adam, for his High Quality airbrush work!

I'm now on my second Yak, (Gave away my first), and I'm going to be getting more.

It's a Great Go To plane, that doesn't require a lot of room to fly.
Perfect for practicing new maneuvers, before you try them out on your balsa planes.

George

Got YAK Yet?

Recommended Componets

Ok guys here is a list of equipment we recommend and fly on our Yaks. You can see the componets are very economical and we have had great success and reliability with them. We are planning on putting a combo package together in the very near future. The cool thing is the airframe and power system will cost you about the same as a Vapor, is more durable and you can throwdown some crazy 3D manuvers to boot! Just watch one of Blucor Bashers videos!

How'd you kill the first one? Mine is looking pretty thrashed, so I'll be getting another as well. Just too cool. That and I now have like 15 packs for it!

Umm....well....uh...it was Ben's fault.

I had already thrashed it pretty well and then we pretty much had a combat event in Texas...and it didn't last much longer after that...now, parts keep re-breaking and falling off at all the glue joints (with all the prop strikes, my elevator looks like a puzzle ) Extremely durable plane though...it was put through a world of abuse and just kept on flying....gotta have another one

Mine weights 165grams without battery. We fly them on 2 cell indoors
or when the wind is calm. Or to tear up the sky run 3 cell 360's.

Xpress,

Picturethis is correct on the AUW. Depending on what power system and what type of glue is used in assembly the range will be somewhere between 6 to 8 ounces.
