For the past few years, I was looking for the Rossi 60 sized engine for my heli.

Although there is the engine in the company catalog, there aren't anywhere

having stock. Does anybody know the Rossi really make OS comparable engine?

If by "OS comparable" you mean it fits in the same engine mount and will fit
where as OS will fit, then yes, Rossi make such an engine. If you mean
comparable in power, then no, the Rossi 60 is FAR more powerful than the OS.

It goes under the name "Rossi 60 ABC"

Have you tried "googling" for an address? Here're 3 to be going on with

I would think so.

The Rossi 60, the 65 and (I think) the new Rossi 80 will all fit where an OS
60 will fit and without any modifications. The heat sink heads of the newer
OS engines (being large) are more like the Rossis heads than ever before,
but if the Rossi head is physically too large, it's a simple operation to
modify, because is't not the head at all, it's just a big heat sink. The
ACTUAL head sits inside the heat sink and is a small button like thing.

As it happens, I've never found a need to modify a Rossi to fit ANY heli,
but I thought I'd mention that if it was necessary, it's an easy job.

As a continuation from another thread I've been looking for info on the
"new" Rossi.80.

There is a lot of interesting reading at my old rossi go-to page (
http://www.rossimotors.it/index.htm ) but no mention of an .80H. Nor at the
links you suggested. Is it that new? Did I miss it again:-))? Are you
flying one?

I've just looked at the URL for the place I've bought my Rossi's from too
Bill and there's nothing about the 80 there anymore either! I'm wondering if
it's been either dropped from their catalogue, or it's just not being
advertised.

It was last year, but I had no need for one at that time, so I didn't get
one. A friend ORDERED one, but he never got it as far as I'm aware (he'd
have told me if he had). I know it cost only 30 dollars more than their 60
though, so it definitely WAS on sale then.

No, but I want one and intended getting one sometime soon, but it's
beginning to liik like were' both SOL. I'm not happy about it, so I'm going
to try E-mailling Sean (the supplier) to see what's happening.
