Very bad news it’s useless to tell ahead of time...
Have you an opportunity to change these dates?

If it‘s not possible maybe I will cancel the IITOP.

It is very disappointing because the IITOP is currently the only FAI F3P contest. Only the FAI contest can persuade the FAI to make a world championship or a European championship.

Nicolas this does not sound serious, i think you should continue what you doing, you already put allot of work in it. And FAI competition make sence. I think if you announce your competition in advance, other organizers should look at it and pick other date....

My friend from Belarus Danil Pylajev had interest to come with me to your competition, so with some work im sure it will be good event. Only in france you have huge numbers of F3P pilots.

Hi Nicolas,

unfortunately I had no chance to advise on these dates. I know the top German Indoor pilots were rather keen to compete at the IITOP and are very disappointed too.

Hello,
don't worry any longer
We just changed the date of the German Championship F3P.
It will now take place at 6./7. March 2010.

This tournament will also be held fully according to the current F3P FAI rules.
There will be also an aeromusical contest and a "b"-maneouvers contest.

Hi Stefan I think you will have just made yourself a popular man :-)

I hope we can all see more FAI schedules flown in 2010 including in the UK

In the name of the Pilots of the BPMV Mannheim, I'd like to thank the organizing club and the DAeC officials for their flexibility with the date of the German Indoor Championship 2010.

I' sure, this will be a great event for all participants.

Hello,
thanks very much.
Of course we want to help F3P growing, so it wouldn't make sense
to block each other. We were not aware of this date, so please excuse
the confusion.

I just started to make a website with all the information about our contest.
http://www.mfc-schlierbach.de/f3pdm
When this is finished, I will start a new thread.

@Donatas:
We would be very happy if you (and many other pilots) could come to our contest.
It is located at 73278 Schlierbach in Southern Germany (near Kirchheim/Teck).

Change date of IITOP

We are studying to change the date of the IITOP. Maybe it's possible to change the date on April 16, 17 and 18 2010.
Everybody will be happy and any major contest will interfere with an other contest.

Hello Nicolas,

please don't change the dates. I will try to organize a team bus for the German top pilots in February. April is no good, as there are already major events like the AERO in Friedrichshafen from 08.- 11.04.2010 and the InterModellBau in Dortmund from 14.- 18.04.2010.

Not mentioning ETOC on april, i don't see any reason why you have to change dates now, when Germans move championship date because of IITOP...

The Dutch last comppetition date has also changed to allow the competitors to attend IITOP.
It is now the 28th of February

http://www.modelbouwforum.nl/forums/...%2A%2A%2A.html (Dutch topic witch is up to date, site is not jet)

I think there is no other F3P competition on the same date as IITOP, so no reason to change it.

Well, since F3P is almost unknown here in Canada, I'm considering a trip to France for this contest.

Should I, or shouldn't I? I could use some convincing

Cheers,
Dave
