Which 50cc? Aeroworks 300ARF QB or Horizon Carden Yak

I want to get into IMAC basic next year and was looking over a few models. I've narrowed it down to two 50cc models - the Horizon Carden Yak54 or the Aeroworks 300ARF.
I must admit that I really like the looks and color scheme of the Aeroworks. They also seem to have quite the following in other threads I've read. I haven't seen as much on this Carden model, and wasn't sure how it would be since it's not actually made by Carden, just designed.

Any suggestions would be great. Thanks.

Here is my suggestion. They are fantastic airplanes and include all the upgrades, such as carbon fiber wing and stab tubes, and carbon fiber landing gear. Good luck with whatever you decide.

A club member at my field sold his Horizon Carden Yak and got one of the above when he saw mine flying on electric power.

Also consider the 3DHS 89" Slick, and EF 88" Extra 300. I've flown the Slick and it's amazing.

Just curious. Will 3dhs be offering a smaller Yak?

Smaller than what? The only Yak currently in our lineup is a 55".

Perhaps smaller than the 55". Ideally ~42" span.

I do not see the 55" Yak on your site. Am I losing my mind?

Not likely in my mind. I don't make those decisions, but the Yak is overdone and not really ideal from a performance mindset. Just my opinion, but there are a lot of better airframes out there than the "Yak" 54.

Agree with Ben - what does this have to do with 50cc airframes. I can almost guarantee that there won't be a 50cc Yak airframe in the foreseeable future for 3DH. No conceivable reason to do so.

To answer your question, I have the AW Extra 300 and it is a fantastic airplane for IMAC - I don't think that you would be disappointed with it.
