Quadra Q35 on an Extra 1.60
Well, like the title says, I've mounted a Q35 on my Extra that I crashed (very badly). It is now rebuilt and ready to go. I had a CRRC 45 w/ electronic ignition on it and it would keep stalling, eventually causing a major crash. I lost ALL confidence in this motor, I don't know how old it is. So my question is this. Do you think the Q35 will fly this plane well? I'm not doing any 3D just fly fast and realistic aerobatics (big loops, slow rolls, etc). It weighs in at just under 13 pounds. This Q35 seems to run great on the test bench. Ideas? Thanks.

It should fly it just fine, won't be a ball of fire but should sure get you around the pattern quite nicely. It will also run about a half hour or more on 10 ounces of gasoline.
