Thunder Power Pro Lite V2 4350 mAh 3S 11.1v--Did I just wreck it?

Today, I flew the Apprentice for approx. 33 min on my Thunder Power Pro Lite V2 4350 mAh, and used up 95% of the battery. 15th cycle.

That is, to be precise, when I recharged it on my Cell Pro 4S, it showed 5% to start. Actually started about 12%, then after a minute or so, settled on 5%.

It's taken hours to recharge. Have been recharging off and on for probably 6 hours today, more or less, and it's now at 12.59V, 95% finally. Just started the balance cycle.

Did I wreck my battery? I've never used more than 80% before.

Have actually flown for longer, but this time I flew loops and more time WOT.

where was you LVC?

i doubt this will "wreck" your battery, but yes shorten it's life. basically, it's not happy about it.

i once had a parkzone lipo i left connected to a charger all night. when i recharged it, it came back up past 2200mah in. i continued to use said lipo for the next year and a half.

Thanks. Did not reach LVC. Using the E-flite 40 amp ESC with Power 25 motor. The LVC is whatever the default is; I haven't changed it. 3.7V, I think.

that's something you should look into, generally LVC will kick in before you drain the battery that much, unless your amp draw is very low. setting it up correctly doesn't take long and is cheap insurance.

i think you will be fine.

Also, dang it; I didn't notice what volt the charging started at, when the window showed 5%.

The 5% should be the amount of usable voltage so you should be just fine.

Thunder Power pro lite V2 are relatively recent cells. what i mean is the voltage will (generally) not drop below an esc's out of the box pre set LVC until the pack is very nearly empty.

no way your LVC is set at 3.7v/cell by default. the earliest lipo specific ESC's were set at 2.7v/cell which now is WAY too low (even then it was too low). The very latest high C cells, some users custom set the LVC to 3.5V/cell.

a timer with appropriate for the given lipos LVC as back up is preferable

12.59v , average 4.2v per cell is fine. unsure why recharge (balance) should take so long?

Alex
