It is a dream, the biggest and fastest for Bikes I think there is in Europe.
400m long, and you drive that in 32 secs./LAP. 44kph AVERAGE!!!!!
Thats 10kph faster than on any "normal" 1/8th IC track....
Pack your things and come for the RC-BIKE Worlds in August....

72 Charges gone through the 2011 Bike. No big issuses.
-Just the cheapo Anderson Steering damper isnt oil tight.
-A slight problem with a modification of the fork I made.
-some Screws I used for the chassis were rubbish changed to 12.8 screws.

A few problems I thought I had can be adressed to the low temperatures in February.

I am still playing around with the motor/esc to find THAT sweet feel of acceleration.
I am close but still not 100% satisfied. Battery runtime is no issue, this bike seems to be
less hungry but there is no explanation for this.
Maybe its the stiff chassis letting every milliamp unfold at the rear tire.

Times are down to last years averages. Actually exactly the same.
Its a bit boring but at least the new bikes performance (in Winter) is as good as the 2010 (in Summer).
The feel of the bike is rocksolid I am absolutly confident that when something goes wrong:
It is ME, not the bike shitting pants.

This is what it looks like at the moment.

I personally only hope to get into the finals again like in Grenoble
That is from the Anderson M5 EP Motorace , works well only it is not oil tight. Cheap and effective. There is also a Aluminum version I am trying to get. That is supposed to be better.

SOOOOOO,,
I AM going to a shrink on monday.... Why?! I am loosing my pebbles... definately. WHAT did I do today?! Apart from breathing and the usual fart now and then?! I dragged all me Motors (and the cat.. ~could~ have been a option) over the Testbench and found out what the little buggas do whith different rotors: 6T, 7T, 8T, 9T Delta x 11.5mm, 12mm, 12.5mm, 13mm, 13.5mm. *PUKE* I am sick of it... Lostallo is driving me bonkers, biking could be sooo easy but why has this track have to be so long, fast, unusual.....!?!?!?

A N D

on top of that I have ruined 10 sets of tires + rims by testing all sorts of rubbish as inserts for THAT perfect ride....
by now I think I could fu*X!#g BUY all the Cups for ALL CLASSES for the coming Champs.... *lol* edisblowinghiswits.....

Yeah, that's like me telling my kids that it's not worth them wasting all my money playing skee ball to win tickets to get some crappy stuffed bear when I could just buy them for a few dollars.

Guess it's more fun to work for it...

By now I think you all know I am bonkers: Been to the track, home, track, home, track, back and forth. This afternoon then I got the little bugger so damn right I could "feel" every little glitch and bump on the track.

Took the times and just made a graphic. These are two of the best 15 min runs, with about 3 warmup laps prior to taking the Laptimes. Funny enough the Average Laptimes are the same.

I was quite astonished to "see" what I "felt".
The 200 taking a tidbit of time till they build up grip beeing very consistent over time till the break away due to overheating.
The 010 warming up a bit quicker allowing better times but then suddenly overheating and giving way. The spikes of the run with the PMT010 arent crashes or errors, just major glitches when having to "catch" the bike again. After that times are getting better due to improving confidence till the next glitch happens.

We all have been talking of this, people "knowing" of it. But this is the first time I have it in numbers.... or maybe I am just "seeing" white mice...*LOL*

Drove 23 Charges this weekend. Impossible to use anything else than PMT200s.
There is just not enough grip at the moment. Still averaging 26,5sec./Lap with the occasional 26,0sec./Lap inbetween. Tuned the bike for easy driving and 100% consistance. It doesnt glitch surprisingly . I can give it to other drivers and after a few laps they feel safe and drive happily lap after lap.
This shows me I am on the right way. If only I could drive the the bike something would be wrong.

Here is a lineup of the first "production" bikes.
Forground its "Grandpa", right side is "Daddy", and the first 4 bikes (two are sold) one of them is mine, the fifth (not on picture) has already gone to it lucky owner.

So ... you are on business now

Still not a complete kit ... people will have to source here and there the missing parts ... but ... for hobby people should not be an issue

Tchuss
