Yes Aaron showed me around his bike, very impressive, I especially love the swing arm concept with motor included, but most of all the simple wrap around bodywork, no moulds required, ingenious!

i've driven this bike. it's easy to drive and very stable. within the first 3 laps i felt comfortable with it. what name are you calling it? the Tirol Terror? the T.M.W. (Tirol Motorrad Werks)?

i visited that track on one afternoon. the surrounding scenery is indeed beautiful. the course layout may be a little tight for a worlds event but i'm ok with it. i'm faster at smaller tracks.

I love all these bikes appearing with SLA prototype parts, remins me of my old job at Jaguar Special Veicles, damn if I was still there I'd be knock out new bike parts every half hour.....

Is there anywhere you can send proper 2D engineering drawings and get 3D SLA prototype parts made these days?

The bike looked hella cool going around the track.
And as with many of the bikes I saw there it has some impressive design ideas.

Did you get to record any lap times? The bike looked incredibly fast and I think you would have placed well if you could have raced it.

I have say that you guys are way ahead of us "Americans" when it comes to RC-Bikes.
Your driving skills and your designs are incredible. And your enthusiasm for the little bikes made my trip to the worlds a lot of fun.

for SLA (or SLS) parts you need to supply a 3D file. although i think there are some software nowadays that can convert 2D to 3D provided that the 2D drawings were generated by CAD. i've never seen it in action though so i don't know how well it works. if it's drawn by pencil and paper then you're S.O.L.

these prototype parts aren't cheap either. i think Edi and Aaron put down a lot of cash to get this prototype bike made. how's that for enthusiasm!

two of the bikes that generated a lot of buzz at the worlds (one of which earned you a giant shot glass) were designed by Americans. arguably one of the best forks in the market is also designed and made in the USA.

but yeah our compatriots are lagging in bike enthusiasm. therefore i now nominate you, stubby, as the commander-in-chief of changing this sad situation. you can recruit Lito as your sidekick (he's got magazine connections, ya know). i'll help out once i return home.

on a side note i'm amazed at the lack of Japanese interest. i mean most of the large RC companies are Japanese. the largest full-scale motorcycle companies are also Japanese.

Wow! I thought you looked fast.
Either the bike is hella good or you are an exceptional talent. Probably a little of both.
Good luck with it.

That's an excellent solution for getting some quick bodywork together! Also I love that headstock...what is it made of? Great stuff all around and a very nice and stable video as well.

How about some video of the bike running on the track. The on-board is cool, but I want to see it from the outside.

And two thumbs up with a shaka thrown in for good measure on the bodywork. Keeping it simple -- I like that!!!
