Really, if you have a sukhoi you dont need the p51!

I mean really, the sukhoi and p51 perform pretty much the same.

Think about it!

IF I didnt have a sukhoi, I would have gotten this instead.

I kind of agree, but I must have one anyway I was going to buy the new gunfighter P-51 but the micros suit my flying needs better.

I agree but do we really 'need' any of these planes?

I must admit, I love P51s as much as the next guy but was hoping for something not so similar to the Suk.

Prob is: still room for two more planes on my truck dash.

i will buy all the planes they put out in this size! you cant beat the price, size, scale looks, and most important, the performance! im waiting for a yak(sp55m would be awesome). i also think they should sell airframe kits with a variety of decal sets to build your own custom versions. maybe somebody at horizon will read this and speak up at the next product development meeting...

Ordered. Already wanted a SU-26 for the parts to build an aileron super Vapor but this will probably come in before and besides, I just like a warbird.

BTW they are coming out with even more micro in the next few months, FYI

they are going to have 2 more micros come out by the end of the year

I would hold off your pennies for those, the p51 is just the beggining!


I would have gotten this too, BUT winter is coming up and I need a heli to fly indoors, blade msr

Think about it. Why would they offer this in an rtr but not the sukhoi. I don't think they would perform the same.

it seems to fly like a sukhoi but a tad slower and floatier, but besides that, they seem VERY similar. have you ever noticed the spot for an mcx tx in the sukhoi box? must have been one of the decisions made in the last 3 months, haha. and maybe they upggraded the tiny tx to full range on the rtf, who knows!

Was doing some imaginary pylon racing with the Suk the other day. About 2 ft. off the ground. 80 ft. between pylons. Keep it stock for an even playing field as far as the power system goes. Could easily be moded into a Dago Red in the Mustang version. Sea fury Furias or September Fury, Bearcat, etc. in the Sukoi version. This would be a great indoor sport for the winter.

there has got to be a zero coming, that or some other japanese fighter maybe a george or a frank, seeing that the current paint scheme on the mustang is from the pacific theater, only makes sense right??

Since they're shipping the RTF micro Mustang with the same 4-channel PZ/E-Flite 'toy' transmitter that comes with the Blade MCX, Vapor, and Ember 2, I expect the Mustang is much more mild-mannered than the Sukhoi.

What will be interesting for me to see is how well this bird performs compared to the Parkzone T-28 Trojan, the current low-wing first aileron bird of choice. If my suspicions are accurate, this might just be a less-painful alternative to the Trojan, especially if this new Mustang is as durable as the Sukhoi has turned out to be.
