Have you found somewhere to buy parts (much needed eventually) for this
heli? It's not been made for donkeys years and the original rotor head was a
VERY old design even when the Suprior first appeared.

Any heli radio will work with it, as will any gyro, but I wouldn't go
spending a fortune to get it flying.

Knowing my shaft size would it be possible to mount newer rotor head.It does
have all the linkages still on it

It "would" but for the fact that the collective control mechanism is
operated by a "wire in the groove" taking the servo movement to (what was) a
"U" shaped lever on the Suprior head. The only other head that used this
method of collective control was the Schluter Champion, but they're getting
as rare as hens teeth too. The heads tham came before the Superior were
similar in design AND operation, but the Champ head was the first with an
inderslung flybar and was MUCH better than the Superior head.

Add to that the problems when you deck it. Side frames are virtually
non-existant and even the main gear could be a problem although I THINK one
from the Miniature Aircraft range of X-cells could be persuaded to fit. At
least all the gears the contact the main gear are the same on the Superior
and the X-cells. Main shafts themselves would be hard to find too.

I hate to rain on your parade, but in reality, the day of the Superior has
LONG gone.
