Thunder Power Pro Power45C 3S2250 mAh
FYI 2,000 mAh at 60A is a 2 min. discharge.
First 3 charges at 3C , 4&6 at 4C ,rated for 6C charges. Charge #5 on Cell Pro 10 at 5A for IR check 2.4 / 2.3 / 2.3 Added a 30-60A graph in minutes instead of Ah 8-15-09 Added an in flight graph. I have never flown this aircraft with such a small LiPoly before. I was curious how it would handle the loads. 8-15-09 4:15PM Burst cycle comparison graph added. 9-20-09 Added ET Micro Power V3 Burst cycles graph and CBA Burst cycles 17-42. 11-7-09 10-60 amps. latest version of PP 45 3S 2250 http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...3&postcount=53 Charles Last edited by everydayflyer; Nov 09, 2009 at 10:23 PM. |

Charles, your timing couldn't be better! I just bought some of these at IRCHA... Real pilots (I'm not) seem to really like the performance of these cells. Castle Creations is showing their new 160 amp ESC (Trex 700 conversion), powering their new motors capable of 7400 (or so) watts. They are using the 45c TP's. Amazing!

Charles some of us like to fly wings at wot most of the time.
That being said at 35to40amps that lipo would be great for many more cycles than we are used to. Thanks for all you do. Robert |

Amazing. Particularly noteworthy is the relatively low temp rise (50F) after a nearly 30C dump.
What IR's you measure on these? And how does IR stack up with VX's? It's about time for me to order some new packs... Mark |

Good Morning Charles,
could you please put discharges of the 3s TP ProPower 30C 2250 and 45C on the same graph? Alex |

Good stuff. Next looming question will be longevity and if they improve over time in the same manner as the VX's. Although admittedly, improving on 2.3mΩ would be quite a feat. Mark |

Hi Charles,
was just reading this one on the 30C pro powers regarding A123 comparison. http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...8&postcount=17 could you please plot the 3s1p 2250 45C (~192g) v's 4s A123 (~304g) on the same graph? Alex |

There is a 10-50A discharge graph here of a single A123 cell
http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showp...10&postcount=1 Pick a load, discharged capacity point and multiply by 4 to get a comparison. I really have no high discharge rate graphs of A123 packs. Charles Last edited by everydayflyer; Aug 15, 2009 at 01:00 PM. |

Thanks for the last one also Charles (of course 40C version, but all good).
I still like my A123's a lot, but as soon as the 45C Pro Power come in ill get some. looks like safety apart the latest lipos have pipped (whooped?) the A123's roll on A123b? Alex |
