Skycart, flying go-cart; new video! plans

Here is something a little different that Mike (motorhead) and I have been working on. The development work is getting very close to being complete. We hope you like it s much as we do!!

1500 kV BW or equivalent motor
9 gram elevon 5 gram rudder servo
8-10 SS esc
gws 8043 prop
3s 360 mAh battery
9mm epp and carbon airframe, 3mm epp wheels
AUW about 9 oz.

That's great! I can see this getting even more interesting on the ground with some light foam wheels and a steering/rudder servo.

This is cool. Do you have the wheels turning on the ground, or just the rudder doing the turning?
I'd like to do something like this for the school gym come winter time.

yeah that wouldn't be very nice.

Plans should be coming along very soon. We are working on getting some nice graphics for the profile driver/cart that you can print in color and paste to the foam to minimize the decorating effort.

The rudder is doing all the turning. Should turn very good on a gym floor. We were driving on artificial turf.

Thanks guys, I think this one is going to be a lot of fun.

Easy to fly + the ground running capability should make for some new stunts and maneuvers.

We have a couple of tweaks that should make it work better still.

I have to tell you guys this thing is fun to fly er drive. To drive we just give down elevator. This holds the cart frame level and lightens the load on the rear wheels. It turns surprisingly well with just rudder on the carpet surface in the video. I cannot wait to try it on a smooth floor.
