Looks well constructed. How much is HKD200.73 in US $?

Blurb says 'outdoors' but I think you'll find infrared transmission blocked outdoors on all but very cloudy days.

If i get it it's for indoor flying.

I guess nobody here seems to own one or have flown one.

Just a bit concerned abt IR as experience with IR helis like the picooz tells me that sometimes the connection just drops and your heli dips or plunges to the ground.

IR connectivity is fair to poor across a range of conditions, distances, orientations. About the same as your TV remote. That's what it is, after all.

You didn't say how much US$ = 200HKD. I can't help but think there are better values than a 3-ch. Even if the chassis looks admirable, a 3-ch will only do so much.

Hi Arbi,
I changed it to USD on the site it says $25.90 + s/h.
for what it is, might be OK. It looks like a gyro'd coax picco z type thing
I have to agree with you, Arbi...not for outdoors, maybe a dead calm night, if you don't get too far away from it.

regards,
Bill

At $26, not much risk, probly get that much fun out of it just seeing what it does and what you can do with it.

Well I went ahead and bought one just for fun.

Flys really stable. Hardly any trimming needed thanks to gyroscope.

Very well constructed -- metal parts.

Nice red and blue flashing lights.

Lipo battery like that of the PicooZ inside canopy.

Comes with USB charger cable, 1 set of spare main blades and 1 tail blade.

Only thing I don't like -- 5 min flight time only and almost 1 hour charge time!

Will post You Tube video asap.

There is a thread about them under new ebay heli. It may be on the second or third page of the multi rotor forum. It starts out about the non gyro version and eventually switches to the one with the gyro. I have two of them and they fly well for what they are. I took off all the extra weight and it will fly a good 6 minutes and at 31.50 shipped it's really not that expensive. It's not an mcx but I enjoy flying it. It's a bit more of a challenge but with a gyro it's easy to get the hang of it. Best 3 channel heli I've run across yet.

Thanks I've found the thread. Yes, best 3-ch heli I've had too.

I wouldn't compare it to an MCX as I would have to pay more than 3 times the amount here to get the MCX. Also MCX is 4ch radio swashplate which you already know.

I just got an e-mail from RC Fever promoting this little heli. I loved it right away but your video is even better. Looks like very stable flight plus a *great* light show.

Hi,
you should have a look at one of the other threads: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1059157 or http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showthread.php?t=1209689 . I think killbucket will be able to help you with that. He has loads of this type.
