Newbie Looking for Starter Kit for 6yr Old

I am looking to get a starter rig for my 6 yr old boy. Starting from scratch. What's your advice?

Six is pretty young for the coordination required. Especially when the glider is flying towards them. If they can handle the Sim, then you can move to a real plane.

If you want to teach him to build, get a Gambler. Well designed, sensible build and repairable - but not bulletproof. You might consider a small zip start to get dependable altitude while learning the sticks.

My 2 cents.
