M,mmmmmm.......If you cut the blades be sure they are all cut Exactly the same amount.

A better fix to get you through until Fung sends us the corrected blades would be to elongate the hole in the blade so you can get the fastener through the blade. Be careful not to make it too close to the inboard edge of the blade. The high RPM of the tail fan will pull the blades out and leave you with an unbalanced fan if you elongated the mounting hole too much toward the hub. I need to go check mine now, but I bet they will be the same as yours. Thanks for sharing the info and pic.

Please post your info here also: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...4#post13466204

Hi,

as i told you by MP, we do not sell them and are working on different system.
These pictures were just to explain that Heli Artist and Waigo ( Rush) tail fans were not the same, no more no less

When they will be available we will post it in a relevant thread and only your local dealer can give you a price then

For the scale fuselages, we can not talk about the models coming out for the simple reason that all our models are under official licences agreement and we are not allowed to talk bout them as long they are not approved by Eurocopter.
Thanks for your understanding, for furhter informations you cann contact me by PM but please not on that thread which is dedicated to HEli Artist tail fan.

Fabien

Hmmm... Too bad the blades aren't longer the other way. That gap between the blade tips and the shroud reduces efficiency substantially. Ideally the gap would be something like .2mm but that might not be practical. But the way it is now is much too big. Fung, any chance you can produce those blades with a closer tolerance?

Very cool though though, regardless. It's more tempting than ever to make a little 135 now that this stuff is around.

Im waiting until all the bugs are worked out. I cant afford to "guinea pig" it. Worked out to me is tested tried and true. Id like to see how the fan will hold up when youre about in the last couple minutes of a flying session such as when the battery drops off a bit. Id Hate to have the tail blow out half way through a pack.

Welcome to RCGroups Richard. We need to see it fly with a scale muti-blade main rotor. If it can handle this then it might be OK to say we like it. I'm holding my vote until the flight proof comes in.

HeliArtist is the only one who will know when the 500 size will be available.

Hi, Thanks.

I still waiting for the 500 size and then i will make one like this pictures:
http://www.eosdigitaal.nl/forum/viewtopic.php?t=69271

It's the new colorscheme for the new dutch police helicopters...

A 4 blade head looks very nice indeed, so i hope to see it soon on the internet.

Heliartist told me that they are testing the 500 size fan at this time so it needs some months till it will be available on the market. (but i can't wait ;-) )
