Honda Jet EDF Nitroplanes

A fellow flyer Crash Jim let me know that these were now available!

I've been waiting for these to come to NitroPlanes.

You might get some background on this one from the older prop version thread:

The nacelles look awful small for 100mm fans to fit in.

I know it says it calls for 100mm fans in the description but I believe this model actually takes 90mm fans. Still looks like a tight fit.

Here is a better pic of the nacelle from Easy Tigers website that gives a little better idea of the size.

They are $349.00 at EasyTiger.
Must be due to their four star customer service.

Edit: (8/13/09)
It's only fair to add that Easytiger has dropped their price from $349.00 to $259.00.

Nitroplanes price still at $179.95.

"Specifications:
Wing Span : 66 in / 1670 mm
Wing Area : 585 sq in / 38 sq dm
Flying Weight : 8.4 lb / 3800 g
Fuselage Length: 63 in / 1600 mm
EDF 101MM"

The qouted size makes it a definite 90mm twin if you ask me.

Sorry Marvin - That probably read a bit harsh, but it was not up to your usual standards.
