[RCSE] Full House Plus Throttle - JR 8103

It seems like I am getting asked more frequently how to do a full house
sailplane and throttle on the JR radios. So here is my solution. I put
the motor on the 3-position switch as my preferred location. If you want
it elsewhere you just need to modify the switch selected in the second mix.

Sure this isn't as much fun as the dive test but perhaps a few will be
interested.

JR 8103 Motor Control on the 3-Position switch

Pushing the 3-position switch to the up position turns the motor on. Both
neutral and down positions leave the motor off. (the gear/crow/butterfly
switch must be in flight mode for motor to come on. The motor will not
run in the landing mode.) Model setup must be GLID, Wing Type must have
DUAL FLAP ACTivated and the FLAP IN. must be FLP.SW+P6. All pots must be
inhibited.

Here is how to do it:

Use two mixes - one to null the Crow/Gear/Butterfly switch from Channel 8
(Aux3) and one to link the 3-position switch up-position to channel 8 (Aux3).

Here are the settings:

Crow Switch Null..........
Mix4
Aux3-Aux3
Rate: -100%
0%
Switch: BTFY0
Offset: -171

3-Position switch up-position link.........
Mix4
Aux3-Aux3
Rate: 0%
-100%
Switch: FLP-D
Offset: +171)

Reversing channel 8 will reverse the "throw" of the output of ch8(Aux3) to
match your speed controller requirements if necessary. Keep in mind that
mixes must always be turned on before you can make adjustments Rate and Offset.

Enjoy!

RE: [RCSE] Full House Plus Throttle - JR 8103

As in any computer radio there are many ways to do this. I prefer a safer
(opinion) method with the motor on the throttle stick (also gives you
proportional throttle) and full trailing edge camber/neutral/reflex on the
flap 3 po. switch. Landing mode if you have spoilers IE scale, put spoilers
up and flaps down on the butterfly crow switch. Ailerons mixed to flaps via
quad flap, with flaps de mixed in landing mode.
