Maybe you can answer this question. I would like to attend the event, but the preregistration form << http://www.ircha.org/register/jamboree.php >> on the website says "you must be a member of the AMA"

Can't I attend the jamboree without being a member of the AMA?

I know that just about every show I go to across the country requires you to be a member of the AMA.

JazzJohn,

You can attend, you just can't fly without an AMA membership.

Don't for get the Drag Races.

a. Bracket Racing like the show "Pinks All Out"
b. Unlimited category, "run what your brung"

The Bracket racing will involve prequalifying to pair folks up with similar times down the 100m course. Too fast and you could loose. A test of pilot skill and consistency rather than horsepower and fortutide of hardware.

Qualifying will be on Friday afternoon at one end of site 4 or at site 3.
Finals will be on Saturday around 2pm next to center stage.

Yes it is a TRex 600 electric. Flybarless head makes it look and sound really cool, and the Skookum control box makes it the easiest thing I have ever flown.
