How do I make Carbon Fiber Parts?
I would like to learn how to make various parts for my RC Helo out of Carbon Fiber and was wondering if anyone could provide some help? I have never worked with this material or any composite material so I starting with no experience. How to books seem nonexistent and Internet help is limited.
My helo is made of thin plastic for a frame with many cut outs in it. Do I make a mold of that and lay CF in it, or cut it out of harden CF? If cutting it out is the answer then that seems like a lot of waste! I appreciate any help I can get, thanks! Sal |

They have plenty of books and videos. This subject is very easy to find information on. And yes, taking a carbon laminate sheet and cutting out the parts you don't want out is teh way to do it. That's why upgrade carbon parts are so expensive. Greg |
