These were taken in Balad Iraq it is one of our F-16's in the 132d FW Iowa ANG. End of an era, were converting to RPA's.

Technicaly not a photo, but it was a series of them!

Thanks Carlos! Yes, that's Scott's model.

A few months back, I came up on a wildfire in central Wyoming. I've just got around to processing them.

Luckily I had two cameras along. I had a Nex 5n with my Tair 3 300mm F4.5 Preset mounted to it and my D600 with a 50mm F1.8G lens.

It was near sunset and the low light, with the very heavy smoke made for some somewhat difficult photography. The fully manual Tair 3 didn't make it any easier :lol:

Sorry... I see a thread to "post pictures" and I tend to get carried away

Probably one of my biggest photography interests is in taking shots that make great computer desktop backgrounds. That way I can continue to enjoy my trips for many months afterward
