Wanted
Frozen, Worn Out, Crashed Engines

I have a few 40 sized planes to build this summer that will be hanging in my classroom spending all of their time looking pretty. I am not planning on flying them any time soon. As such I hate to spend a bunch of money to put new/working engines on them.

Does anybody have an engine or two that is no longer functional but appears as so or can be made to appear functional?

I wonder if you contacted either Mecoa or Fox if they would help you out. I take it that you teach given you said class room so if you play this up they may. Both take junker trades (fox will sell for 1/2 price with junker trade in). maybe give them a call and play up the "kids" angle.
