A quick google australia search brings up:

Frontline is showing out of stock but have you asked them to get it in for you?

Other option is to buy European version which comes without the cheap TX but has a mixer control to get the motor up/down to work on your own basic TX. So if you already have a TX it saves you getting another one!

Very nice flying day for December in Connecticut.
Had 3 flights with two of them about 35 minutes each. Twice the DG spec'd-out and needed some aggressive action to bring it down... first with the spoilers up, then added the engine up & prop windmilling, and finally some the rudder to instigate some slow spiraling down too.
Boy, there is nothing like finding and riding a thermal!

Took mine out last week, no probs. Tried again today and the motor pops up, beeps, rotates the prop slowly and then cut out. Retract and then try again and the same thing happens.

If you wait a few seconds the BEC beeps then the motor will rotate the prop slowly and then cut out.

Any ideas folks?

Battery fine.

Went thru the calibration procedure thus, made sure motor was up then:
1. turned on tx with throttle stick down. moved to full on.
2. plugged in battery on the DG1000, got a beep, then pulled throttle back down.
3. tried then bringing throttle up and....

No joy. I get one turn and the same beep after about 5 seconds.

How many volts in the battery?

OK, I think someone else had this and it ended up that he had to reverse the throttle channel. BUT TAKE THE PROP OFF BEFORE PROCEEDING FURTHER.

Sorry for the caps, but we don't want any accidents.

Could also be a poor connection: http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...&pp=25&page=51

Still no good I'm afraid.

Reversed the servo TX end but that just resulted in the same one rotation at the other end of the stick.

Checked the wiring, taking off the motor and fishing out the esc but all looks fine.

I can also program the esc from Normal to Auto and back but still get the same problem.

Strange!

You need to check the wires with a meter. That's the only way to eliminate them. A visual inspection isn't enough.

Blimey...that was fiddly. All the wires check out ok.

What's odd is that, as mentioned, everything was fine last time I flew..the last landing was perfect and it's had no knocks in transportation or storage.

Annoying as I've got some keychain cams and wanted to get some footage of the snow!

I recon your ESC is bricked. Is it the original? Mine only lasted a few flights and then it smoked. Yes it was playing up in flight so I landed, and then there was smoke coming from the ESC.

What Tx are you using?
