Loosing sync on a Turnigy SK Series 42-60 500Kv motor
I just received this motor (Turnigy SK Series 42-60 500Kv) and have been having some problems. At 3/4 throttle or above, I am getting terrible screeching and massive vibration from what appears to be a motor sync issue. Slowly bringing up the rpm's to this point, the motor/prop is butter smooth...hit about 3/4 throttle and the motor goes nuts.
CC HV45 ESC
8.75 x 10 prop
I have tried 3 different prop adaptors just to make sure it wasn't a balance issue. The cut-down prop I am using has been run up to 13,600rpm with a gearbox set-up, so I know the prop has no balance issues.
I also tried one of my cheapy Suppo 70amp ESC's and it didn't help/change the problem either.
I have tried every imaginable combination of timing and frequency with both speed controls. While the vibration/sync issue varies in it's intensity with changes in the timing, nothing seems to cure the problem.
Anyone have any ideas what I can try at this point?
