just out of curiosity, i tried using this calc program, and another that allowed a second taper in the LE, and it just wasn't enough. do you know of another that would allow for a triple taper wing? also on the second and third panels of my particular wing, the TE sweeps forward a bit..... any way to allow for this?

Thanks- I looked and looked, but came up short too-
I have an F3B sailplane that the manufacturer has supplied the c/g for me, but it is like 48% to 50% and that just seems wrong, but conversely, flying it yesterday on the slope makes me think it could be right?
I'm just looking to see science support the c/g.

Yeah, with a replacement cost at over a grand, I think I'll try NOT to biff it!
The plane was still porpoising a bit at speed, so it tells me it could go back further... It's just awfully far back for a sailplane IMHO...
BTW, Sorry to Hijack the thread Spasierb
