Thanks to 3DMON for figuring out how to conver the plans into a tiled PDF for those who do not have a Phlatprinter yet
He is working on a tutorial video so that anyone that wants to build any of the Sketchup plans on the Phlatforum.com will be able to now. The PDF is below.


This is an elevon only plane. It is approx 40" long and a foot wide at the largest point. This is not really a beginner plane but with some practice anyone can pick it up as it is set up as only elevons. You want all the weight at the front for best performance.

This a flat plan view from sketch up.... I saved it as screen print...
I then ran it though Tile print...

I have deleted my crude PDF plan as its no longer needed

You ought to put the "dude" a bit closer to the heel-side rail for that drop knee turn to be effective.

Totally Awesome!! Dude! I just ordered a kit. This would be fun to take to the beach.

No Problem Mark, I will eventually get round to building an Epp version of the HobbyKo Kit for my FB..
I will probably have to incorporate your keel ideas, as the Epp is gonna be a bit floppy without some fore and aft re-inforcement..

dekan EPP would be cool! When I made the first prototype it had only one stringer and I used a carbon spar as reinforcement. But now with the final version there really is no need for it as the 3 stringers really gives it the strength. One thing you may want to do is make a hybrid, with EPP as the main board and depron or fanfold as the stringers? just an idea.

Here's a short video we did over at the lake. We would have gone longer but there were just to many people there. After the flight was over they all came running up to see this flying surfer they were blown away!
