Thanks, Jeff.

Hmmm... Let's see. I've been saying that it can be done in less than a month if you put in an hour or two per night during the week and four to five hours per day on the weekends.

Doing the math, this works out to 10 hours during the week and 8 to 10 hours on the weekend times 4 weeks equals something like 72 to 80 hours.

So, I'd have to say, start to finish, less than 80 hours to get it ready to fly.

Cool pictures. They really inspire me to get mine done.

Speaking of mine, I have the basic construction on my wings done and the ailerons are built and hinged. I'll post pics tonight after I get home from work.

Thanks, Fuzz.

I hope you get as much enjoyment out of yours that I've been getting from mine.

Thanks for the update, Daren.

Yeah, I can almost see the fuselage, but it's looking a little bit like an X-29. (The wings are backwards to the plans underneath)

Seriously, though, it's looking good. The washout is really apparent in the shot of the wing resting in the jib (root rib looking toward tip rib).

That does build into a pretty wing. Nice work, Daren.

Daren, what glue did you use one the ribs? I used to CA everything, but now too much fumes have gotten me...

Jim,

I used carpenter's glue on the ribs, and thick CA around the perimeter of the sheeting.

Fuzz: Thanks. This has to be one of the easiest, pretty wings that I've built.

Dan: I was hoping someone wasn't going to notice that.

I'm going to have fun with this one! Let's see just how light I can get it!
ARC 28-47-1.5, HET 6904, and 5s 3000. good for 1035W at med timing.

Of course I love VN era camo. With that in mind, it must have a mouth on it.

Whoa! The second one is definitely a fantasy design.
