Welcome to RCGroups G.T and to the Ellipso Aero thread.

The Motor I used is a 1000 kv (BrushLess) BL-2212-13 like this one. I use a 3cell from 1350 to 1500 range.

Set the printer at 'none' or 'no scaling' on the scale. These planes have been built from 60in down to 18in wing spans but the 43in wing is the most common.

You should do fine with your build because I designed it with the beginner builder in mind. Please ask any question as you build and some one will be happy to help. I will be out of town most of this week but will help if and when I can.

Thanks for choosing the Ellipso Aero for your build. It really is a great flying plane and I think you will really enjoy building and flying it. Please post pictures, I would love to see it.

I believe that is it. I told them to contact rusty-gunn or muzzyII, as they were eager participants in the challenge...I dont reckon I have the time to fool with it. Although I was suprised and grateful they asked, even if I dont know what it is...lol

And brag you should, i like it! It could use a folding prop, but I bet it flys great.

I have my Gentle Lady 76" and I have the other which is 100" that I have not put together yet. Those gliders will get your face sun burnt.

Thanks Ron, this was one of those projects I started to hate half way through, but glad I finished it.

The folding prop is on my list of things to get. I may upgrade the motor a little - I think I may be pushing its limits - hate to see this thing burn up.

I to have a gentle lady - not covered sitting here. One of those things I seem to try to avoid for some reason - someday though.

So building anything new?

Bob

Hi Everyone,

I'm back from SEFF. It was great as always but very few scratchbuilts. Almost all ARF'S.

I liked the wing tip lights for night flying. This lights up the entire plane!

I bought things I didn't need but thats the fun of it.

Hey Bob,
I like your glider!!! I could have bought one at SEFF for $20.00 but I had no way to haul it. I think it was called Aspire or something like that.

Welcome back boss!

From the vids, it looks like it was a tad damp and maybe attendance was down a little this year?

Did I see the Hodge's Bomber flying again?
