Wow! Great job.
According to Arkmodels the Song class model isn't as maneuverable and as fast as the Dragon Shark but yours is. |

Thanks.
but I would say the Dragon Shark is still a tad better in terms of performance.... but of course the Song is a scale model and looks much better... |

Cmpang, would you mind posting some photos of your mast system or do you have them posted on Rosen Fleet? I can't access your YouTube file behind The Great Firewall.
I've been considering doing a post fit myself but find that sail awfully tight for my fat fingers.

ahh The Great Firewall, been there. Get this neat little program and it should allow you to access blocked sites like youtube:
http://www.hotspotshield.com/ Worked for me! Sometimes you get add banners but you can always close them. |

Yes, I normally use proxies to access those "banned" websites but can't morning, nor can I access the link you sent. Its so bad, you can't even search "great firewall" on Google today.
Me thinks the PSB put up a few more virtual bricks last night as they continue with their final preparations leading up to that big party planned in a few weeks. |

thats what I like to see,the fruit of my labors put to good use cmpang ,how do you like that pump looks like the one I saw before ,looks like it works well be sure it doesent get hot to soon ,for masts it should be fine but for ballast tank it might get hot if its not water cooled ,thats why i put mine in the tank sealed up tight so it wont get wet inside, this pump be able to that as well.Say could you send me one Id like to experiment ,Ill pay all thats needed! Glad to see it works so well, you know your not limited to just one mast I have put up to 5 masts on one pump and the heads can be as lerge and detailed as needed just watch the mechanical obstructions and work around them Ill post what I have done ona Robbe type XXI.Tomorrow. the pump costed me US$1.5 only. It uses a very powerful 260 motor, drawing 4A even under 7.2V. Way too much for the mast. I search the Toabao (Chinese ebay) and spotted a high voltage / low rpm version of the 260. It is rated 12V/8000 rpm and so I gave it a shot Yes much better on this motor, 12V drawing 1.5A, but still too much power. Put in a 12 Ohm resistor and now only draw less than 0.3A. Can run it all day and barely get warm, even when stucked at one end . I also diy a reverse switch for it... Anyway, thanks aquadeep for your enlightenment on this mechanism. My next move would be on the experiment to trim the balance/leveling ... but I am running out of space inside the wtc... cmPang |

Thanks. That clip works fine & appears that you're using the same "mabuchi" pump that Like Submarine posted recently:
http://item.taobao.com/auction/item_...cm_cat=0&pm1=1 I've ordered one a few days ago & should be receiving it any day. I know what you mean by the WTC getting tight.

Try this put the pump in the wet sealed with goop or similar sealer ,and use a ESC to power it as neded pressure, very fine control is achieved that way and is adjustable.
Could you send me a link in english to the pump? |
