Little friends, little friends

A corporate turbo-prop just landed at Burbank airport, the first plane to land here in about 36 hours. It was closely followed by two F-16s, who did a big fighter break over the airport and hightailed it out of here. I'm guessing that if you're flying around a populated area today, you've got little friends watching over you.

Kinda makes me feel good.

Probably more like they were watching the plane, to make sure they were doing what they were supposed to and not up to anything.

No doubt about it, but it's pretty cool to see military air power over L.A..

It'd be just a bit cooler to see those same planes dropping steel over the hills of Afghanistan, IMHO.

All in good time. I'm sure it will be raining steel soon.

U.S. Air Guard F-16's out of Duluth, MN (where I grew up) are patroling the skies of Minnesota. Happy to see and hear you, my friends.
