Folks

I thought I'd put all the data gathered by me for the 28-58-1 here as not to clutter up any threads with misc ramblings by some folks:

Noload 3S/4S and 3S results for these APC E props:

4.75x4.75
5x5
6x4 Sport
7x5

How about 196mph pitch speed? How's that sound?



Motor test with 5S Flightmax 3000mah lipo on a 4.75x4.75 APC E prop.

Holy abuse batman!!! THats absolutely insane! And im impressed with the batteries being able to hold 3.3V/cell at that kind of discharge current! I think that would get you to 200 mph pretty dang easily...

Any chance you could shoehorn it all into the Escape

Very close to the numbers I got on my Projeti (bench test only)

I used a Thunder power 5S 3300 mah...and 4.7 X 4.7 Graupner CAM speed with spinner.

Can't wait for my bungee to arrive....

also thinking whether I should put in an order for Thunder power 5S 3850 30C, rated for 115 amps continuous....

Shoehorning it into an Escape might be a problem but possibly doable.

28-58-1 motor data

This setup is in a 6904 HET fan and the rotor is properly balanced.

Two runs were made with low timing/high timing on a 5S Flightmax 3000mah lipo(interesting thing is the lipo held 3.6V per cell):



As you can see there was very little difference between the timing change so I set it back to normal.

Wow didn't see this post.

It would be close to the 5x5 results albeit with a higher rpm number and higher amp draw. I could try and get some numbers up soon.
