Just move the balancing shaft 90 deg on the truflight and wow your prop or spinner has a new heavy point, different ever time. And I did ream them properly. The dubro looks like it gets good reviews.

I've been using OS-F plugs on the Saitos.

For grasschopper....I have a .65 on a World Models Frontier Senior. That is a copy version of the Sig Kadet Senior. The specs call for a .40, but I've seen everything on them up to an OS .91 FX two stroke. I think the .65 is just about perfect for that airplane.

Yeah it was 9-degrees here this morning . Funny my car (Diesel) cranked right up but this afternoon it got to 35 degrees and died 3 times .

I do not want any glow fuel on my hands this time of year . But do want to take the Saito's out .

That does sound like a problem. I assume you have reversed the prop on the shaft and tried that. I would think a magnetic balancer with no contact points would be good.

Personally, I use a balancer I've had for 30 years with metal wheels, metal supports and a heavy aluminum base.

Saito 115 GK

Hi all, I have a saito 115 tat I was going to use in a H9 1/4 scale cub.. Specs call for a 120 or better I looked at the Saito 125 the specs on these 2 engines are almost identical...Any thoughts ? Thanks Carl

Ehh why does everyone want to add weight, just move the rx batt back and recalculate cg...

Better yet, just fly it and set the CG according to what works best, not what the specs call for.

Yep. That's a good plan but the specs are a good staring point. I like to think that at least the plane would be flyable with the CG at the spec point. I wouldn't want to try to maiden a plane without at least checking that the CG is near the specified point.

The 115 is LIGHT. it's a 1/4 scale plane.

I guess my other concern was not having to load the nose up with a ton of weight ... I got a great deal on the motor so worse case ,I could just put it up for trade ???
