HI all,
I have an old Saito 120 with the air bleed carb. The carb isn't working so well and I was wondering is can put a new carb on it from a later model 125 or something?
Can anyone help or advise me on which wat to go?

Love the sound of that gasser 4-banger FlyingHigh .

Its one smooth engine . Its the smoothest gas engine Ive heard . Those guys seem to love them and buy them as quick as they come out with them . The one guy in the video Kenny , flies nothing but O.S 4S glow though . He sees me fiddling with my Saito's and comments on it ,but not realizing my Saito's do not break in for about 5 gallons it seems.

The rocker cover gaskets on my .72 are no good anymore. I am sure they are there for a reason, so should I replace them or not worry about it?

I have 3 Saito engines ,a 72 in a superchipmunk.
A 170R3 that is in a seagull GeeBee Z thats going together at the moment.
And a 200Ti that is going in my ESM 82'' Hurricane which is the next build after the GeeBee.
I love them !! you cant beat the sound of them ,esp the multi cylinders.

Hey!! I've asked my wife for the 3dhs sukhoi for my birthday in late September. My Saito .82 will go in it. I have a rx for it. I just have to get the servos (and she has to get me the plane).

I may have some questions about it when I get it, if you don't mind. I think I'll order the red bull graphics too - since I asked for the blue/silver one like you have.

Are you aware of a thread about this plane where a saito or other glow engine is being used. I have the rcg links in the electric forum, but not much by people running glow.

Hey rodneygt , That thread doesn't see a lot of action to begin with . But whatever questions you have feel free to post in it or PM me .Ben is sure to answer any questions you may have also. Other then that Im not aware of any threads on it . Just like the 58" Extra for some reason it just does not get a lot of exposure.
One big thing to watch for are the wing bolts, and I dont know why they have decided to get a bad name over a 10cent wing bolt. If you can get a set off the 58" Extra then do so ,you can probably just talk to Curtis at Extreme Flight for them.

I have been using a 14x4w apc on my .72 for a while now and have been happy with it. I have seen that a lot of people are using that same prop on their .82's. Should I be using a something smaller?

What plane?

We been runnin 13x4W's on our UCanDo's with .72"s and I run a 14x4W on my 91 on a 60 sized Twist.

If you know you want to run a 4W prop then its basically determining how fast you want it to spool up. I'll bet it idles really well swingin that 14
