I have both of those engines , the 80 twin and the 90 twin. Both are fairly powerful. I have a 90 on the Goldberg cub on floats and it has more than enough power. Hops right off the water. I had the 80 on an old (well it wasn't old when I built it) Dave Platt Waco YMF3 and it flew well and that wasn't a light airplane. Used 10% nitro and a 14x6 Top Flite prop.

Actually I have 3 of the 80's a two 90's. Great engines.

At the power sports dealer I used to work at had a ultrasonic that would hold a rack of four motorcycle carbs It had a heater and we ran it at about 120F to 140F. Usually about 30 minutes would clean about anything. We used Dawn Dish soap. Cheap and did not discolor the aluminum. A trick I learned was to place parts in a plastic bag with a different solution (in the bag) and dunk that in the cleaner. No mixing of chemicals and it cleaned just as effectively in the bag.

Ken was that Dawn Dish soap in the bag or a different cleaning agent?

It was a different cleaning agent. We had tried something and while it worked good it was expensive. Also any steel in the solution would turn the aluminum black. It actually worked better than Dawn, but like I said $$$ I tried it on a couple of my motors and it worked VERY nice. I also used an acid solution on some parts once in a bag. That worked good also. I think I let the bagged parts warm a bit in the tank before I turned it on.

Got myself a little Saito 60T yesterday, sweet little engine. It's maybe been bench run once but it's so clean it's hard to tell.
Got to get a project up and going for this one, probably a 9ft oldtimer of some sort.

Bill
ps. no I don't need another Cub

That is a nice twin for sure. Congratulations. I always wanted one of those .60 twins myself too. But I haven't figured out anything that I wanted to fly it in yet.
