Quad head? Unfortuately very slow, because other stuff hass pushed it behind. I just finished a new 5G6 frame lg retrofit, which I wanted to do for a while now, and some folks have been requesting, it's a lot better.

I have also been making small enhancements to the UPS frame, but its finito.
I am trying to find a time slot this weekend to finish the head parts.

I also just finsished building a new custom CNC machine and hoping to complete a custom micro injection molding one that I designed back in 2005. but never finished it. This machine will do some very cool parts, very fast because it is computerized. I just got some parts I needed for this machine and this is will probably eat up a good part of this month.

Thanks Richard,

Here are some of the less complex parts I am using on the molding machine, things like dual temp controllers, yet to be received, inject and eject timers, many switches to switch machine from manual to automatic, safety devices for dual hand operation in manual mode, electric multi-port valves, pressure and temperature gauges to closely monitor on board panel. The machine is automated via servos and monitored via PC also, on full automatic operation.

Everytime I put a project like this on hold I have to spend a good week of going over notes. I have a binder just dedicated to this project full of notes as I make advances in its completion and fine adjustments in design, but the ones that take a bit longer to remember are the timing diagrams, it is like OK I want the machine to do what again? let me go over what I was thinking back years ago, but eventually it all comes back and sometimes if I get too involved I don't want to leave the project, my wife has to try to pull me away from it so I can take care of other things, unfortunately all these projects take considerable time.

MY goal is to build 10 of these machines because they are extremely efficient, as compared to even the smallest commercial one on the market or similar ones (see phtos) . It uses less electricity and possibly solar energy whch, here in Arizona, is something not many take advantage of, we should be using every single bit of the sun to conserve natural resources. I am big fan of recycling, I don't throw anything away that can be recycled and eventually it gets recycled in some form or another. A lot of the material I use for other products I produce will be recycled on these machines into more cool little products. Plastic are wonderful but many take these materials for granted, just look around your neiborhood and a lot of stuff that people throw away could be made useful again with a little creativity.

I am reluctant to to show too much on these projects, because some day I may offer these very same to hobbiest, but presently I need them for my small operation, perhaps when I retired.
