Yup, one thing I could never get any 450 to do good is piro tic tocs! But the sport holds through them no problem!!

hey guys. Would you say that this heli would be almost identical to a pro if you put a TT on it? It looks way cooler.

Last week I upgraded a SE V2 to the V3 main rotor housing/ V2 main blade grips. The larger rotor disc made it feel like a larger heli to me! The V3 main rotor housing uses the Pro feathering shaft. Align.com.tw lists the Pro mainrotor diameter at 710mm and the Sport at 715mm. The difference is in the grips? V2 grips on the Sport [thats what they look like], Pro grips on the Pro. I will compare next time at the field.

Bert Kammerer mentions new mixing ratios for the 450 Sport. So I guess a V3 conversion does not make the SE quite a Sport or Pro. Now I'd like to know if the mixing ratios of the Sport is identical to the Pro.

1.21 Gigawatts!

I believe they are, based on the mixing arm length.

I'm bringing this thread alive again because I have a Sport on the way, I'll post my impressions compared to the V2 I've owned and answer any questions between the two versions if interested. There's only a few threads for the Trex 450 Sport on RCG and I'd like to see a dedicated thread for it so, stay tuned...
