I didn't say it was my invention, the EL backlight idea has been around and patented/copyrighted, in fact "init4fun" ask why not patent my design, I told him exactly that. I apologize that I used your words about the installation note without giving you the credit, that was all and i'll change it. I'd understand if that was the case but the kit was entirely my own work. So again I apologize for if I have offended you, I hope we can settled at this point

There is nothing to settle...no need to change the wording. It was actually a couple of others that PM'd me on this anyway.
No more posts on this subject please... Respectfully, -Hilgert |

Kits ordered last week have been shipped out. For guys that are into cars/trucks like myself I plan to do Spektrum DX2.0, DX3S/DX3R soon. Check my post for updated info and new pics.
If you have request for modding a particular radio that is not listed, feel free to PM me. |

Very interested in this for my DX7 and DX3R radios. Just want to make 100% sure that is doesn't effect the range of the 2.4ghz radio's.

Fly Hard or Fly Home!!!
|
all i did was cut out the battery bay side and slid in a 2 cell 2,200 mah lipoly and solderd it to the original wires for the 4 AA then soldered the charging port to the bottom of the board where the lipoly plugs in and cut the wire from the charger and put a deans connector so i can charge it from my plane charger so far it has been a week since i charged it and it is at 7.1 volts the remote registers that it has more voltage , it works perfectly ,I will post pictures when i am near home
