Micro Grey Ghost Utility plane update

This is an update to the Micro Grey Ghost camera ship.
The specs are still:

Motor: Eflite Park 480
ESC: Eflite 25PRO
Prop: MA 11X5.5 electric prop
Battery: Turnigy 3S 2650 mah 20C Lipo
Servos: Eflite S75 (3)
Control: Spektrum AR7000 RX
Wing is from a Parkzone Supercub. I still love those wings!!
I use the struts from the original Supercub wing.

I got tired of building a new fuselage whenever I got a new idea for one, the rear of the fuse that attaches to the wing stayed the same throughout all design changes. I decided to make a true utility aircraft and have the nose be replaceable with different payloads. The one pictured is a KX-191 forward facing camera, 900mhz 500mw transmitter and 3db gain antenna.
The next payload will be a side looking digital camera.
Will post video from it soon!

Balsa and lite plywood painted with Lustrekote. Ive actually already maidened this plane, and the previous fuse model flew over a year ago:
Micro Grey Ghost maiden flight (1 min 24 sec)

Notice the flex in the wing on takeoff, this is when I decided to install the struts.
Ill post new vids from this plane soon!
Thanks for the props..
Mike

Very simple build, youd be surprised what shapes can fly, even a flying 2x4, which is what this plane has been called.

We got a video flight in today, the plane flies great, hand launches with just a hard toss. Enjoy!

I am really surprised how much I enjoy flying FPV from this plane. I flew many flights yesterday, just keeping it out in front of the beamwidth of the antennas just to be safe. It flies so stable, FPV is so much more smooth on the video than flying it line-of-sight.

That is very Nice!!
Now that the mini concept is proven, we need a 100% Foam Version, with short and long wing options (Or Bipe Option), and you will outsell the EasyStar!

Any aerodinamical reason to raise the engine ?
Isn't the dual boom design to avoid this ?

You could absolutely use a folding prop and lower the thrustline.

Man, folding prop assemblies are expensive!! I think Ill stick to an APC 11 X 5.5.
Do you guys think a plan set and build manual would be worthwhile of this plane? Thinking it over and checking options.
