hard to say , but its impressive w/o. 10-15mph would not be out of the question. pretty big potato in the tail pipe. imo even at 4 cell stock power its really not enough to make the tv fun. i say go for the speed, with a 2200 40c or better it's close to 100 mph IF kept light.

Thanks Chuck...I guess speed it is, maybe after a while and if the airframe survives, I can try the VT just for fun....

good choice, its a flier. once again just stay light, the smaller battery like a 2200 4's seems to make a big difference. and we fly them w/ the cg back just a bit from the call out, they float better and dont drop the nose in slow turns, fwiw.

Z'poxy finish resin. I haven't found anything comparable yet in 20yrs
I have a test wing done and finish sanded in the rafters of my shed(heat) for the past ten years and its as good as day one, save for the yellowing.
IMHO. if you ad anything more than 30grams to a 500sq in wing its done wrong.
PD, I just noticed your servo covers are on backwards!

Hello again!
im ready to start my build, but I was wondering what servos are guys using for the 4s version (stock)?
Im planning to fly it first without the VT unit and maybe later install it. I did a quick search and not much information, I guess hxt 900 are ok, or are metal gears sevos needed?, specially with the VT unit?
Thanks

If you're stock 900's are ok I suppose. I've had them go bad too many times.
The HS65MG works well on stock and the HS85MG's do better when heavy.
