Len'
Wow! Lots of information that I as well as everyone here can surly use! Thanks so much. I have one pack I made last year of the A123 cells. I can put that in my Speedy Bee and go unlimited vertical! I have a AXI 2826-12 in that with a Master Airscrew 11x7. The thrust is unreal!

OK...off to play with my own RPG in the basement. Making a pilot and the such.

Cheers!

Dave

Hi Bill,
It certainly LOOKS Cool! You did a nice job with the Swiss Cheese treatment. After reading what Len wrote..I may have spoken too soon, seems as though a small bit of extra weight might not have been such a big deal after all. In any event, those holes look good, you should consider transparent covering to showcase your work.
Regards,
-Mike

Hi Bill,
Ten out of ten for innovation, but are you sure about your figures there? If you started with 0.16 and ended up with .04 you have removed 75% of it. 75% remaining seems more likely.

Regards
John

Heres my friend Martin flying his RPG today...I trimmed it for him and he had a play on sticks before this flight. This flight is his first full autogyro flight ever so I think he did pretty well and it was a pleasure to watch.

Regards Rich

Martin....as Rich said, the autogyros are very adictive! LOL! So much fun to fly. For a first flight with an autogyro....you did VERY well!

Good luck in your future flights!

Listening to the "post flight de-brief" I would agree with reduced servo throws and a bit less expo. It looked like the expo and high rates combined to sometimes suddenly cause larger than required/expected rotor movement.

Peter,
Have you finally begun construction on an RPG, or have your electronic experiments/projects kept you from it? Saw your posts here in the "RPG Owners" thread and I was hopeful you might be one now.
Regards,
-Mike
