I think I just going to do the mod with the two servos in the back. Don't really need the super scale look as long the surfaces are working 100% properly.
Only have the foam and the retracts build in. The rest are all my own electronics. |

Well I finally go my Hunter finished and she's looking real pretty! Man! I'm the slowest builder in the world... but have a few questions for some of the "experts" on here. My plane must be tail heavy, cause my CG is right at around 190mm? !!! Doing research on here, I know that the 130mm in the manual is way too nose heavy, and I was trying to go for about 170-175 as that seems to be about the right CG for nice flying? I must have used too much epoxy on the tail? But my question is this: Has anyone flown their HH this tail heavy? Am I asking for trouble? I have a 4S 3300m batter pack in the front and have the rx and wire bundle as far forward as possible... I removed the cheater grate, and the flaps (lower halves) to reduce some weight, but short of taking off the wing tanks, I think that I may need to add a dedicated rx battery? I hate to add more weight, as she seems kinda porky as it is with all those servos to run retracts, etc... Also, am I right in taking the CG from where the wing meets the fuse? including the intake part? That works out to about where the front wing seam to fuse is? Help! I'm itching to fly;-)
Thanks...Z |

Tim can you please tell us what modifications you have made to the Hunter ducting in order to achieve 'without cheater hole'. Any steps you took to streamline airflow or achieve laminar flow inside the ducting - Also interested to know the AUW & thrust in this configuration. Thanks
