What size battery required for this size motor

About 18 months ago i picked up 2 tornado brushless motors, and I need a ider of what size of battery I would need to run. I have no clue what i'm putting them in yet but thay have been sat by my pc for 18 months.

Thay are B3618 - 1200 Inrunners.

Depends on the size of the prop and what voltage you decide to use...

Generally, on a motor that size, you're either gonna use a 2s or 3s lipo, or something equivalent. But as Challenger said, it depends on the application.

The problem with these motors is i have no data for them so I dont evan know what size aircraft thay would be suitable for.

I'm using a very similar Turnigy motor in my Hobbico Superstar EP with a 45 amp esc and 3000mah 20c Zippy 11.1 volt battery. The prop is a 9X5.5 and it's pulling 290 watts at 23 amps. Works for me.

I have just come home from "Weston park show" where I talked to Overlander who's brand thay are and there going to e-mail a speck's sheet on the motor.
