Great heli Marcel! I like the last shot with the winch working. Have you picked anything up with it yet?!

There is a T-Rex 500 ESP inside, re build to belt drive. I have a CC lite 75 (i like the ultra soft start) with a original Align 500L motor as drive. The motor has a 12 pinion and i fly with 1900 on the RJX head - this with half-symmetric Spinblades. Unfortunately, the engine was after a flight very hot, so i had to put a fan in front of it. I will change it in the next time to a Scorpion with lower KV, together with the new 5-blade head from Spinblades
For this reason, i fly today flybarless with a 3Digi for stabilization. That works very well.

Not a wench , but it's possible with other things, the winch should be able to lift up to a kilo. I will still build a rescue basket for it. Take a look here, thats only a business card with a Outrage clutch inside to give more weight. (there was nothing else there, but we had a lot of fun )

In this video, you can see all the possible functions (light, sliding door...)

Hi fellas,

Hope you don't mind if I chime in. Some of you know me from my scale planks on RCG. Well I've ventured into the heli side of this hobby only 5 months ago and well...I love it! Can't get enough.

I am a noob. But a self taught noob since there was no one in my area willing to lend me a hand so I had to rely on this site, my trusty sim, and others online for advice and inspiration.

Here is my current heli family. The Jet Ranger was Hectors.Thank you Hector. I'm upgrading her right now and she'll sport a new paint scheme next year. Being an aircraft painter by trade and a retired custom car and bike painter on the side has it's advantages.

From left to right, Trex 700N/E conversion, Trex 600ESP, Trex 500ESP, Trex 450 SE V2. I don't have scale heads on the MD 500's yet because I don't know enough about them right now so I'll enjoy the heli's with the stock two bladers for the time being. I'm sure I can find someone here on RCG who can tell me how to set up a scale head.

The Trex 600ESP has a new, primed only, Bell 222 fuselage in the early stages of fitting. Hope to have it finished next summer. It will also sport a custom paint scheme. Cameleon color maybe?

Stay tuned.
Perry

Thanks guys.

The hardest part about painting one of these birds or any vehicle is choosing the colors and paint scheme.
