Hello

Heres a few pics from our latest clubscalemeeting here in Gothenburgh, as seen in the pics theres a great varity of helis in our club, mine two are the
Eurocopter Panther and arrospatiale White Lama, both electroconverted and from Hirobo, unfortunaly there wasnt much flying due windy conditions that
day.

Cheers
Jack

Looks great...Ever thought of putting a diffuser over the back windows so you don't see the gears and frame work ? I used a plastic screen like you would use in a door. And it makes a big difference...

I have, but that's where all the airflow goes, and I like the fact that it runs nice and cool. Also I don't think the screen works as well for windows as it does on the bottom, where you can paint it.

Align 450 size EC135, Rush flapping head with Rush narrow chord blades. Flew fine in pod and boom as a 4 blader doing ~2150 RRPM on a 3850Kv motor with a 10T pinion, real stable even looped it a couple of times. Seems to have come over all suicidal now it's back in the EC135 fuz???? C/G may be to far aft now, was quite nose heavy in pod & boom.

you may have to revisit the pitch curve; did you try adding an equivalent weight of the fuselage to the heli to simulate extra load (less weight of l.g./fins as necessary) and retrimming before outfitting?
putting the fuselage on has not just moved the cog (that's a lump of fibreglass on that tail); the expo may need adjusting due to decreased efficiency of blade area close to fuselage affecting total available thrust. the impulse from the outer 2/3 of the rotor disc is now significantly higher than it was is p'n'b configuration.
a lot of turbulance around the body won't help the gyro, on top of reduced tail rotor thrust from that tail, running a lower h/s means less tail authority. upping the gyro gain may help. gearing the tail speed is better.try hanging the whole heli by it's rotorhead on a string to set the cog (with battery installed) first.....then if it flies level but turns/spins then you're already beginning to sort it.

How is your heli flying with the scale head vs the 2 blade with flybar ? Is it much harder to fly ?

Maybe I would like to try a scale head on my A109 mini titan but since it flies real nice with stock head, I wonder how the scale head may affects performnace and stability ?
