Lagoon Valley July 5th - Fun Fly ... Info Here ...

Well for those of you who manage to escape from the wife or girlfriend on Sunday July 5th, we're have funfly at Lagoon Valley. This is a BYOC...or "Bring Your Own Chow" type of event, although I plan on bringing a bunch of community drinks.

I am going to recommend to the membership that we have a Port-a-jon brought out for the event!

Event: How about a water balloon drop from your airplane? Way fun!

Excellent idea by Fred Bronk to include a swap meet. We all have stuff we need to get rid of, except Carl, he never gets rid of anything! Anybody interested in selling or trading off some extra RC stuff can set up a table.

Seriously tho, the swap meet is a great idea! I have so many planes I need to get rid of, I might not have any room to bring stuff to fly LOL.

I plan on going out to the field with my weed wacker between now and the 5th of July to knock down a few of the taller weeds around the runway and parking area. I sprayed several of those bads boys with weed killer last week and they seem to be suffering a little. I can bring a couple of tables out for the 5th of July event. Hopefully the weather will change and the wind will die down a notch or two so we can fly. If not, we will do what we do best, visit, tell lies about or flying capabilities, eat and sell stuf to Carl that he does not need.

Off the subject, how do you guys attach those cool icons or photos next to your name so that they display each time you contribute to the forum?

porta -jon will be there thurs. thru monday. I paid 10.00 extra for a damage waiver in case it gets vandelized.....I hope the wind is not too extreme sunday! see you all there....over

I was wondering does any of you guys know where a person can Rc electric race at, I know they use to race at the K mart parking lot in fairfield.

Race cars... or planes? If your asking about cars, I have no idea. Keep in mind the forum is pretty much limited to things that fly.
