XYS 250 Attack of the Clones

It was a matter of time. It's not a $35 heli as some expected but it's here for $110 shipped! More info as they become available.

OK Guys, I have spent a few hours going over details regarding this heli.

I have asked the owner of the company to send me one of these heli's so I can do a close up build of it.

I am in the process of building a web page that will show the details of this heli as looked at by rc pilots rather than sales people.

All I can say at this point is that there is no comparison to the HK250, the difference is like comparing chalk to cheese.

I'm going to be looking out for the postman every day till it arrives at my office.

As a small token the owner is going to be offering my web site visitors a small discount provided they email me with the request for the discount, it may not be much but at least it is offered. Until I get the page up feel free to register on their site and then PM me for the code.

I really cant understand how they can do a heli like this at the price offered which includes international delivery with tracking code.

Regards
Elias

I have some photos to share

And these are some of the detail

Full Metal Head, 100% identical to the genuine Align Trex 250 head, part for part interchangeable, METAL!!! not plastic

CARBON FIBER main frame, not Alloy, so benifits are weight loss!!

Metal Tail, yep at these RPM's you wouldnt want plastic thats for sure

and

Metal Tail Belt drive gear, Woh Yeah! no more need to fix the crappy plastic bits that fail and cost you almost as much as the heli to upgrade..

All in all guys if you look at it this way this heli has all the extras, is 100% interchangeable in parts with the Align 250, and is already all metal head and tail, and CARBON FIBER!!!

now I look at it this way, I spent a fortune on my HK450 to get it to metal and get the postage etc, upgrading the flimsy parts to metal, especially after watching the main blades sail off just missing me....
Well no more!! I am simply buying a clone that already has the bits in it

Take a look at these images below

I spent quite a bit of time, double verifying the details with the owner.

So guys check it out, register on their site, PM me for the discount code and buy this cheap unit (IT INCLUDES SHIPPING!)

Regards
Elias

Elias, I already had a problem trying to register for this helicopter. Their website does not allow for a U.S. state selection, but it does warn you that you need to select a state. There is no where to enter or select. Please let the owners know so they can fix. Also is this or is this not in stock. Hard to tell from the website if I was backordering or it was in stock. PM sent to you for discount code.

Weird. They even cloned the name! It proudly says "T-Rex 250" on the canopy!!!

Think this is best clone I had seen. If the linkage ball had no problem, then this is a winner.
KAWA250, A10 250, HK250, and XYS 250. What next?

What servos fit this heli? Will the SG50 (tail) and SG90 (cyclic) fit? I'd like to have those or some Hitecs HS-50 and HS-55 and an XMHobbies G401B gyro. As for power, I prefer one that is for 3D rather than flight time.

The servos are the HXT900 size for all 4

At this stage until I get an update the motor I have selected and esc I have selected still stand in this page

300 Watts as apposed to 150 Watts, and 25A ESC as apposed to 15A ESC for a tiny weight gain, thats double the power that will fit into this heli
