EPP SU-22 Fitter
just wanted to share some pics of my recently finished SU-22. OK, shes no pusher but I think she fits in here best.
She is made of 20mm(fuselage) and 10mm(aerodynamic surfaces) EPP RG20 (20kg/m³) with 1,5mm carbon rod reinforcements. Armament is mounted with 2 pieces of 10x5x1mm magnets each and removable for flight.
Some tech data:
length: 970mm (1090mm including Elevator and Spinner)
fuselage diameter: 97mm
Motor: Turnigy 3530B 1400kV
Akku: 3s2200mAh Flightpower
RX: GWS 6Ch
First flight will be together with my YAK-130 when it stops raining in Germany together with my YAK-130.

mr ud- that looks great!! are the Su-22 and the Su-17 sister ships? i was working on an Su-17 that has stalled out a bit. but the lines look extremely similar to the Su-22 that you have here. excited to hear about how she performs and where your CG ends up. is yours swing wing? good luck with the maiden!

as far as I know is the main structure of the SU-17, SU-20 and SU-22 almost the same. The SU-20 and SU-22 are export- versions of the Su-17. Changes were primary made on engine, armament and avionics and small changes on Canopy and back. All drawings of the three birds that I have found were almost the same - but I cant guarantee
I was testing the CG before installing armament and electronics (~250g) and had to move the CG about 20mm back from the calculated position for a nice glidepath. Lets see wether the CG still fits with more than twice the weight and a powerfull engine in the nose.

That is going to look GREAT in the air! Even better than if it were a pusher with a motor hanging off of the back.
I hope it flies as good as it looks!
