Brushless setup for PBY Catalina (Guanli)
Hello,
I would like any suggestions for a higher powered brushless setup for my Guanli PBY Catalina. I want to use tri blade props for scale looks, but want more than scale power as I will be flying off lakes at 8000 ft elevation. I've read that some people have put this pair of motors in the Catalina, but I'm not very knowledgeable on electric power systems and don't know if this combo would be a higher powered setup or not. https://www.hobbycity.com/UNITEDHOBB...idProduct=5686 Thanks. |

Thanks for the info.
I haven't decided on a particular battery and am open to suggestions. I have heard the the Turingy motors may be a good fit. I'm looking at the 2209 from United Hobbies. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=5686 If you have any info on these motors and supplier, I would appreciate it. |
