Maybe ask over in the Power System forum. I think there would be a wealth of knowledge over there.
I have the same plane...crashed it good 2X but fixed it pretty easy. I'm at sea level and I'm going to put 2 of these in it running on a 11.1v 2200 mah lipo. http://www.rchotdeals.com/Products/r.../2208_18a.html I think it will fly great. Good luck! |

I upgraded with bp hobbies motors, here is a link to the thread with video http://www.rcgroups.com/forums/showt...8#post12381113
In the video i was at around 9000 ft. elev. and had no problem what so ever with power. |

Very helpful. It looks like your setup works well at high elevations. I would like to have a tri blade prop for a closer to scale appearance.
I have heard the the Turingy motors may be a good fit. I'm looking at the 2209 from United Hobbies. http://www.hobbycity.com/hobbycity/s...idProduct=5686 If you have any info on these motors and supplier, I would appreciate it. |
