[RCSE] Old formula 3M Super 77 spray adhesive still available??!!

Here is some info direct from 3M about the change in formulas for our
Super 77 spray adhesive. Thought you guys might like to know...
============================-------------------================
thank you for inquiring about 3M products.

Due to goverment regulations, we are trying to lower the VOC's on all
of
our
aerosols. That was the reason for the formula change on the Super
77. The
stock number you have, 62-4437-4930-4, is the old formula without the
additional acetone. The old formula is still available from our
distributors
as long as you specify 'old formula' at the time you place your order.

The suggested list price for Super 77, both old and new formulas, is
$10.02
per
can. We sell to our distributors in full cases of 12 cans per case.
The
price
can vary greatly from one distributor to another. For the names of
distributors in your local area who may be stocking the product, you
can
call
our sales office in Twin Cities at 1-800-241-4820.

If you get stock number 62-4977-4930-9, you have the new formula of
Super
77.
It would not be suggested for your foam application.

We sell to our distributors in full case quantities. It is up to the
distributors whether to sell broken cases. Here are four large
catalog
houses that may sell to industrial and commercial accounts in less
than
full case quantities (again remember to request 'Old Formula').
1) Grainger Industrial Supply
1-800-323-0620
2) McMaster Carr Supply
1-630-833-0300
3) MSC Industrial Supply
1-800-645-7270
4) R S Hughes
1-877-774-8443

If you have further questions or need more information,
I can be reached at 1-800-285-3215, ext. 41.

Great! Thanks!

I went to Home Depot recently and noticed they had several cases of
the old cans, but I didn't want to chance buying without testing.
Was gonna take some foam with me next time

Of course I'm in Canada, so the rules may be completely different
(example: GOOP here is less flammable, but more toxic.)
